IBJJA Assistant Coach, Max Burt opened his own Academy shortly after becoming James Clingerman’s first Brown Belt. Max is a technician of the highest caliber who has been a consistent part of the IBJJA since 2003.

Aside from helping coach many of the IBJJA’s top students, Max has seen his own share of Tournament success; winning the Indiana, and Louisville State Championships several times. Max has also won divisions in other larger tournaments such as the OGC and EGO.
